Dr. Jewell’s Continued Advancements in Plastic Surgery

Dr. Mark Jewell has returned from the Annual Meeting of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) that was held in Vancouver, BC. At the meeting, Dr. Jewell presented scientific papers on his work with a new bioengineered material called Seri Scaffold™ and on the risk profile of various types of breast implants, that involved over 14,000 woman years of follow up. Additionally, Dr. Jewell taught several instructional courses on facelift, practice management, and the use of the high-intensity focused ultrasound devices for body contouring. Dr. Jewell was elected by the membership to serve on the Nominating Committee for ASAPS.
