Restarting Your Skin Care for Fall

Updated September 11, 2013

woman at salon getting a chemical peelNow that fall is about to arrive in the Northwest, it’s a good time for patients to restart their medical skin care following a great Oregon summer season. While summer is a great season for fun in the sun, many patients take a “skin care holiday” to enjoy the outdoors and their skin can suffer from sun exposure.

Fall is a great time to restart your medical skin care and to ease back into the use of synthetic retinoid creams to help reverse sun damage. Other treatments with Dr. Jewell’s aesthetician can help diminish skin pore size, red and brown spots, and improve skin quality. Other treatments with cosmetic injectables and FDA-approved neurotoxins (Botox Cosmetic, Dysport, and Xeomin) will complete the process of refreshing your face and get you ready for the holidays.

For more information regarding medical skin care and cosmeceuticals, please contact Dr. Jewell’s aesthetician, Sherrey Lavelle at 541-683-3234 to schedule an appointment for medical skin care or cosmetic injectables.
