Dr. Jewell presented the outcomes from a clinical study that involved ten patients undergoing abdominal fat layer reduction treatments that used the Syneron-Candela UltraShape Power device. This was a scientific study that measured both the reduction in fat layer thickness of the abdomen and reduction in waistline circumference following three treatments performed two weeks apart with the device.

There is a rare type of lymphoma that is associated with all brands of textured breast implants. It is called Breast Implant-Associated Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (BIA-ALCL).
