Injection Therapies

Botox Cosmetic® and Dysport®

Currently  there are two excellent FDA-approved neurotoxins available, Botox Cosmetic® and Dysport®. Dr. Jewell has extensive experience with both varieties and can help you decide which is best for you.  The neurotoxins  allows you to express yourself without those distracting frown lines and crows feet. The purified proteins in Botox® and Dysport® address the dynamic frown lines caused by overactive muscles. It softens muscle contractions that cause furrows by blocking the release of a chemical that causes these muscles to contract. The injections are quick and minimally invasive. The entire procedure takes ten minutes and there is no downtime afterwards.

Restylane®, Perlane®, Juve’derm Ultra/Ultra Plus®, Prevelle® and Selphyl®

Replace lost volume and restore youthful contours to the skin with Cosmetic Dermal Fillers. These products are designed to smooth away moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds such as the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth.  These include the hyaluronic acid-based facial fillers such as Restylane®, Perlane®, Juve’derm Ultra/Ultra Plus®, and Prevelle® . These facial fillers are compounded with lidocaine to reduce discomfort during injection. Other synthetic injectables that are used include Radiesse® and Sculptra®. Dr. Jewell also offers Selphyl®, a new tissue filler that is made from components found in your own blood. Your own fat (autologous fat grafting) is another option, but requires a surgical procedure (liposuction) to collect fat and prepare it for injection.

Chemical Peels

Chemical Peels are one of the safest ways to restore your skins healthy glow and youthful appearance. Laser Treatments

Laser Genesis®

Laser Genesis® utilizes a non-invasive laser technology to safely, discretely and effectively treat fine line wrinkles, large pores, uneven skin texture, skin redness and scars. You can expect to see subtle, yet consistent, results after each treatment without the side effects of bruising or excessive skin irritation. Over the course of four or five treatments, you will see a creamy, healthy complexion as large pores are reduced in size, and minor imperfections are diminished.

Limelight® Facial

This Intense Pulse Light (IPL) treatment is a quick, safe way to improve your skin’s tone and color on your face, chest, arms and hands. The Limelight® Facial is exceptionally effective in treating and removing brown pigmented lesions caused by aging and sun damage as well as diffuse redness such as rosacea. CoolGlide 1064NM YAG Laser®

Cutera CoolGlide® can remove unsightly small facial veins (or telangiectasias) without bruising.
