Dr. Jewell recently was invited to lecture at the Northwest Society of Plastic Surgeons as well as the American-Brazilian Aesthetic Society meeting on two studies he is conducting as an investigator. He shared his medical research on a study currently underway evaluating an investigational medication to treat unsatisfactory scars from previous breast reduction or breast lift surgery.
Dr. Jewell presented to his colleagues his research and results on HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) which has the potential to offer patients a non-surgical form of body contouring.
