Dr. Jewell and his staff want to remind you to protect your skin and prevent further sun damage this summer by applying sunscreen daily. This applies to men, woman and children. Look for a sunscreen with UVA /UVB protection and a SPF of at least 30. We recommend and offer products with zinc oxide and/or titanium dioxide which will block the suns harmful rays. No sun block is waterproof, only water resistant. Re-apply at least every 2 hours if active, and more frequently if you are in the water. Do not forget to apply to neck, chest and hands. Applying a good sunscreen daily can prevent skin cancers, and prevent photo-aging. It can also help you save money on wrinkle cream later!
